HubSpot Troubleshooting

Common issues with the HubSpot integration and how to fix them.

1"HubSpot not connected" error

This usually means the OAuth token expired and could not refresh. Go to Settings, click Disconnect next to HubSpot, then click Connect HubSpot again. The reconnection takes about ten seconds.

2Meetings assigned to the wrong rep

Check the owner mapping in Settings. Each HubSpot owner must be matched to the correct MeetMatch team member. If a mapping is missing, imported meetings will not have an assigned rep.

3No meetings imported after sync

HubSpot meetings that have no contacts attached are skipped during import. Open a few meetings in HubSpot and confirm they have at least one associated contact. Also verify that the HubSpot owners involved are mapped to MeetMatch members.

4Contacts not syncing in real time

Real-time sync depends on HubSpot webhook subscriptions. If new contacts are not appearing, disconnect and reconnect the integration. This re-registers the webhook subscriptions. If the problem persists, contact support@meetmatch.ai.

5Disconnecting the integration

To disconnect:
  1. Go to Settings and click Disconnect next to HubSpot.
  2. Optionally, uninstall the app from HubSpot under Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps in HubSpot.
Disconnecting stops all data sync. Your existing MeetMatch data is preserved, including any meetings already imported.
